Tenant fit-out plumbing for general contractors
Plumbing for restaurant, retail and office tenant improvements. Send the drawings, scope split and trade schedule for a project quote.
Define the base-building and tenant scope
A fit-out quote starts with a clear division of responsibility. Identify which water, drainage and washroom provisions already exist, what the landlord is providing and what the tenant contractor must supply. Include any landlord standards, approved drawings and known site conditions.
For a shell unit, confirm the connection locations and equipment requirements. For a previously occupied unit, identify what stays, what moves and what needs a condition check. Reusing a space does not mean its existing plumbing suits the new use.
Coordinate rough-in with the trade schedule
Fixture locations, equipment selections and wall layouts affect the plumbing rough-in. Send the latest drawing revision and flag pending decisions before work is scheduled. Build the required inspections into the programme before walls or floors conceal the work.
We work as the plumbing subcontractor on commercial improvements, including washrooms, kitchenettes, restaurant equipment connections and hot-water systems. If an equipment substitution or layout revision changes the scope, review its effect on the quote and sequence before proceeding.
Working in an occupied building
Tell us about access hours, loading arrangements, shared shutoffs and tenant-notification requirements. Name the person who can authorize a water interruption. These details help distinguish construction time from the access and coordination needed to complete the work.

Questions we get asked
Do you work directly with general contractors?
Yes. GiftedHands works as a plumbing subcontractor for general contractors on commercial fit-outs and renovations. Send the drawings, scope and schedule for review.
Can you quote a fit-out before every fixture is chosen?
Send the information available and identify outstanding selections. Any preliminary scope needs clear assumptions; equipment and layout changes can affect the final quote.
What information is needed for a shared water shutdown?
Provide the affected areas, approved interruption window, access arrangements and the person authorized to approve the shutdown. Confirm tenant-notification responsibilities before scheduling.
